Dressage Trainer

Nikki Serge brings over 30 years of experience training people and horses alike in dressage . Her passion for equines started when she was 6 years old growing up in Radnor, PA., prime horse country. After graduating college she pursued an equestrian career full time .
She partnered with long time dressage trainer Nina Benninghoff, to form Holly Tree Dressage Center in NJ. Holly Tree was the biggest full service dressage and boarding facility in South New Jersey for over a decade . During this time, she showed the farm's Oldenburg stallion's foals, at Dressage at Devon with much success . She rode her Arabian stallion, KZ Second Chance , as well as her Oldenburg, Golden Opportunity, in many young horse and dressage competitions . During this time she trained with Major Jeremy Beale , Marilyn Payne , and Nancy Polozker. Soon after, she made the difficult decision to leave Holly Tree Dressage to relocate to Hunterdon County, New Jersey for the opportunity to train with and work for, Grand Prix trainer and rider Silke Rembacz full time .

Over the next six years she gained experience traveling to Wellington Florida in the winter, competing and placing at BLM Championships also qualifying for the Region 1 Dressage Championships in New Jersey during the summer. She also competed Eileen Scheineman's Dutch warmblood, Obelix, completing her USDF Bronze and Silver medals, as well as riding at Dressage at Devon and the NEDA Fall Festival Region 8 Championships.

She currently enjoys building her own business and focuses primarily on helping her clients achieve their dressage goals.
Nikki is planning on competing her own Shkywalker, a 15 year old Oldenburg gelding (Shakespeare RSF) at I-2 this year. She is also excited to show her newest dressage partner, For Real P (For Compliment) an 11 year old Hanoverian gelding, at PSG this summer.

She divides her time between her NJ based business from April through December and Florida, January through March .
Its Nikki's goal to use her passion and experience to provide correct training, at an affordable price, to every horse and rider in a way that meets each individual need.
